ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. Created by LivingWorks, this workshop teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don't need any formal training to attend the workshop as ASIST can be learned and used by anyone. In fact, participants without prior learning are as successful as participants that do.

suicideTALK is a 90-minute suicide awareness session that helps participants understand the issue of suicide and how they can help to prevent it in their communities. suicideTALK is an introductory program that helps people examine why we may have thoughts of suicide, encourages open discussion about suicide and attitudes towards it, and helps people explore ways we can help prevent suicide.
